Dr. Michael Greger
A founding member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, Dr. Michael Greger is a physician, author, and internationally-recognized speaker on nutrition, food safety, and public health issues. He has lectured at the Conference on World Affairs, testified before Congress, appeared on The Dr. Oz Show and The Colbert Report, and was invited as an expert witness in the defense of Oprah Winfrey in the infamous “meat defamation” trial. He is a graduate of Cornell University School of Agriculture and Tufts University School of Medicine. Currently Dr. Greger serves as the Director of Public Health and Animal Agriculture at The Humane Society of the United States. Hundreds of his nutrition videos are freely available at NutritionFacts.org, with new videos and articles uploaded every day.
Alexis Fox, is the CEO (Chief Empowerment Officer) at Lighter. Lighter is a part tech, part nutrition company that gives everyone a personal nutritionist who does the grocery shopping. Their software puts healthy eating on autopilot. Fox has dedicated her life to helping fix our broken food system and has worked in the movement as an attorney, political leader and entrepreneur. Fox also spent three years as an adjunct Professor of Leadership at Emerson College. She is particularly interested in cultivating female leaders and believes in the power of software to revolutionize the way the world eat. Fox has lectured at Harvard Law School, Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science, New England School of Law, University of New Hampshire, Northeastern, Brandeis University and Lewis & Clark Law School.
